HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, MISSOURI SYNOD
HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, MISSOURI SYNOD
Service Time: Sundays at 9:00 a.m.
What to Expect: A warm welcome, Christ-centered worship, and friendly people.
After the Service:
Hi there—thanks for stopping by! Whether you’ve been in church all your life or you’re just beginning to explore faith, we want you to know that you have a place here at Holy Cross.
When you join us for worship at 9:00 a.m., you’ll find friendly faces, meaningful time in God’s Word, and a service centered on the gifts He gives through Word and Sacrament. After worship, we’d love for you to stick around—kids can head to Sunday School while adults gather for Bible Class. From 10:00–10:15 a.m., everyone meets for coffee, donuts, and conversation.
Here at Holy Cross, our worship follows many of the traditions that God's people have been doing for thousands of years, but we have also brought in many modern touches. Using God's Word as our foundation, we have responsive readings between the pastor and people. There is some standing and sitting at various parts of the service to show honor to God. We do sing hymns and other songs. Some of these are older some are newer, they all praise God and teach us something important about our faith. We use projector screens to make it easier to follow along during our worship.
We do celebrate Holy Communion on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Sundays. This important part of our worship is taken seriously. Before receiving communion, we want to make sure everyone is on the same page. See our communion practice
Overall, our worship is centered in God's Word. Our worship is joyful and reverent. Our worship is God's people gathered together as one. We can't wait to see you here at Holy Cross.
