Altar Guild

The Altar Guild at Holy Cross Lutheran Church serves in a quiet but essential way, preparing the sanctuary for worship each week. Members faithfully set up for Holy Communion, change the paraments and banners to reflect the church seasons, assist acolytes, and decorate the sanctuary for special times like Advent and Christmas. They also prepare for baptisms and other services, ensuring that everything is in place so the focus remains on Christ and His gifts.

Serving on the Altar Guild is a meaningful way to honor God through care of His house, and new volunteers are always welcome to join in this behind-the-scenes ministry of love and service.
